About This Passion Seeker
Cultural writer turned digital marketer, Danielle is a NYC-based creative, copywriter, and fitness/wellness enthusiast. Her broad digital marketing experience has allowed her to work in many aspects of the industry including, social media and community management, content strategy, campaign ideation and activation, analytics, and more.
After earning a communications degree from DePaul University in her hometown Chicago, Danielle headed to the East Coast to attend Columbia Graduate School of Journalism. There, she became a beat reporter in the Lefferts Garden area of Brooklyn - covering stories about gentrification, community, and the arts. After graduating, she spent time as a freelance writer/blogger for publications like The New York Times, ESSENCE, BlackEnterprise, and more.
Now, she's an up-and-coming creative marketer eager to make her mark in the multicultural marketing space, helping brands progress in authentic and culturally relevant directions. A self-proclaim passion seeker, Danielle is always on the search for intentional experiences - whether through travel, dance, fitness, community building, etc. She shares her self explorations on the Fit4Purpose platform: an interactive, digital vision board documenting the interconnections of physical activity and purposeful living.
